Nate Padavick and Salli S. Swindell are a brother/sister design and illustration team known as Studio SSS. In addition to They have created hundreds of magazine and book illustrations, thousands of greeting card designs, and, of course, many super tasty illustrated recipes!

Salli Swindell
Salli lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband and 4 cats. Her studio is exactly 10 steps from her kitchen making the morning commute extra easy. Now that her 2 boys have moved out she still misses the 3 o'clock hour when they would hang out in her studio and chat about their school day. At any given time there is an illustrated recipe in the works and some ink-y food doodles. When Salli is not in her comfy and colorful studio she is out hiking one of the beautiful trails that make up Cleveland's Emerald Necklace.
Nate Padavick
Nate specializes in map illustration (I Draw Maps) and lives in San Francisco with his boyfriend Jim. Nate recently launched Doodle Theory, a collaboration with Chronicle Books with the goal of re-introducing a little analog creativity into our digital lives. Nate also loves to bike and hike.
